Basically I ALWAYS used to have long hair as a kid/teen, because it resonated with my identitiy a lot and I'm currenly leaning more towards a boho aestethic which requires me to have that long hair. And the thing is, I was balding in late college but I didn't mind it at all because I was focussed on my studies instead of actually trying to date and party like I was during the first 2 years.

And then I COULD have chosen to salvage my hair or just shaving it off when I still was Norwood2-3 but I was baited to 'just shave it off bro, you'll look more masculine and hotter; just own your baldness '.
I swear /r/bald is just a fucking echo chamber of bullshit where bald guys just circlejerk eachother about 'how hot baldness is'.
And the fucked up part is that I the type of girls that I've always been into greatly fetishize long hair, so I'm here like "Great that I knew that after all this time after I've started to go bald"

Seriously, fuck /r/bald and fuck the bluepilled cucks for baiting me to shave it off instead of trying to salvage my hair! I'm trying to salvage it now but it's too little too late. I'm just hoping a hair system now and then a transplant later could bail me out. And if not... (or just SMP + compensate with heavy fatloss (26% bf atm and physique, just so I at least have SOME dating potential instead of zero)

• Hairloss in general is BRUTAL for PSL/appeal, it makes you look soooooo much older. There have been plenty of experiments bald vs hair on dating apps with the same exact bone structure, and most guys got 6-10x more matches with hair! That's fucking brutal!!!
• They always bring up 'but look at [attractive bald guy]'! Even those 'attractive bald guys' would still benefit from hair! Even HTN, CL and Chad would still get fucked if they went bald! I would reckon that even a 'bald Chad' who's already getting 1000 matches per week would be getting 5000 per week if he had hair
• The guys saying to 'just shave it off' likely aren't trying to optimize for dating at all, or they're likely already 40+ year old married men anyways who are only worried about 'looking good at business meetings' instead of trying to date.
• Even if "Baldness was more masculine" (it isn't), not everybody wants to look like a 'bald tough guy with a thick beard' (which only works if you're like 35-40+ anyways. If you're 20-30 you're severely capping yourself hard).
• If baldness 'is so sexy' then how come most of the guy writing those 'bald is sexy articles' or making those videos have full heads of hair? If baldness 'is so sexy' then why did Julius Ceaser assassinate guys that looked at his receding hairline? In fact, the entire first Spongebob movie's plot revolves around a guy trying to compensate for his baldness if you think about it!
• Certain niches heavily reward/fetishize guys with certain hairstyles.

If I could choose to be 5'7 recessed jawline (not jawlet tier) with hair or 6'2 bald with titanium jaw, I would choose the 5'7 guy.

Man I feel you I was a norwood 2 at 15? Then year later boom, one side kept receding. I'm 20 now, my hairline is so fucking asymmetrical. One side is still young looking. Anyways - I started fin and I hope I'll get some minimal regrowth. Even 0.2mm of hairline gain would help a lot to balance it out. I have long hair too, if I didn't have an ogre upper third it would be okay. With a buzzcut I look like Private Pyle except I'm more receded than him.

In fact, my uncle is somewhat attractive, and I saw him last time again at a dinner after not seeing him for 5 years, and he was bald; he looked sooooo fucking different. Went from looking like 'that cool uncle' to 'the uncle that would yell racist slurs at thanksgiving dinner'.

Yeah it arrives on June18th (professional install) until I can hopefully get a transplant in 2027-2028 (but by the time I have 'good hair' again I'll be in my 30s which means that 'party days are mostly over'). I'm just hoping it'll hold up for raves/festivals. At the very least I'm not looking for an LTR but just festival/rave hookups so I hope that it'll be fine with proper maintenance/prepwork
