TL;DR / DNR: Wearing a hair system right now, better than being bald but worse than natural hair (not just for looks but also for my own mentality)

Man I hate how I'm so insecure about my hair system, like if you think my spam about my hair system on this discord server is bad, you haven't seen how many chats I have open with ChatGPT/Grok constanty asking the same question about hair systems with just slightly different phrasings on each model to see if the answer changes. But then again, I feel like a hair system is still better than being bald anyways even if it's not as good as natural hair. I really wish I could just get a hair transplant but I because my hairline is already too fucked. Even if I went to Turkey TODAY it still wouldn't recover the type of hair that I wanted. And I want to use the money I would have spent on a hair transplant on something like a LeFort instead (or just more festival tickets tbh)
It's not JUST that baldness makes you less attractive, but it also locks you into the 'tough masculine guy' archetype while I want to go for a more 'bohemian artist with long hair' kind of look.
I genuinely did not know how brutal baldness was! I'm not mad at anyone, I'm just mad at myself for not taking action sooner (and also mad at /r/bald for baiting me to 'just shave it off king' at Norwood2-3 when I still had a chance to recover).
At least my hair system looks better than baldness, but still.... I wish I had real hair
Not just for looks, but also for the tactile feeling. Ruffling your hand through your hair feels a lot different when you have real hair instead of wearing a hair system
Or even worse when I was this one girl at ecstatic dance, rolling around on the floor and making out with her, she reached to pull my hair and I had to redirect her hands away from it in a playful manner. While externally I was smiling and playful, internally I felt sooooo fucking bad. "If only this was real hair, then you could have pulled as hard as you wanted".
