I never denied the fact that he doesn't need maxillary surgery; and yes in most cases a dorsal hump ≠ “genetically crooked bridge.” Half the time it’s literally just vertical maxillary excess + clockwise rotation dragging the whole midface down and back. When the maxilla sits low, the nasal complex gets pulled backwards, the radix looks higher than it actually is, and boom instant “hump” even if the cartilage is straight.


He still has a fucked up nose though, coupled with his recession will look tenfold worse. The infra support is indeed recessed, the midface isn’t projecting, and there’s vertical overgrowth. You shave the hump and he’ll still gonna have the same collapsed side profile because the bone structure underneath is unchanged.
