They are zagrosian neotlithic tho not anatolian .Most Baloch look Punjabi, even though they have, on average, less than 10% South Asian Hunter-Gatherer ancestry, whereas Punjabis have at least 20+% on average. Plus they have elevated Anatolian Neolithic farmer ancestry, which should make them look more West Eurasian, and yet, most of them look indistinguishable from Punjabis.
Both Punjabis and Baloch have Zagrosian Neolithic farmer & Anatolian Neolithic farmer ancestry. But for the Baloch, these numbers are both higher than for the Punjabis. West Eurasians have higher ANF ancestry, it’s much lower in South Asians. I have only 8%, which is a decent amount for proper South Asians, but they have, IIRC, almost 20% ANF. Europeans have even more than that. They are zagrosian neotlithic tho not anatolian .

Nowadays there are Persians and other Zagros-related communities who are claiming that the Baloch don’t have the highest Zagrosian ancestry. But I don’t think they are right.View attachment 5541672 You are right they have the most farmer ancestry .
