You do not want low cortisol, it's associated with suicidal behaviour and most severe depressions

i think u mean 0 cortisol
yeah some cortisol is needed to think logically
but not average normie levels.
just "low"

and if u have higher t, u will have low cortisol always
High t decreases cortisol
No

Exogenous testosterone enhances cortisol and affective responses to social-evaluative stress in dominant men

If ur high t u have the balls to suicide
That may be the case but I think it has to do more with how cortisol spikes after stress have profound anti-inflammatory effect in the brain (cortisol in general is very anti-inflammatory), and can prevent chronic PTSD after stress, there is evidence pointing to that. Not enough cortisol after stress or injury = chronic disease risk

Exogenous means injecting if ur natural high t it decreases cortisol there are studies about it

The first study I linked is about endogenous test. And yes there is a negative correlation but only for total testosterone, free testosterone correlates with cortisol. However, your cortisol response to stress is much more important than your average cortisol throughout a day. The ideal situation would be:

- High testosterone
- Moderately high cortisol on average
- Very high cortisol stress response

I would be willing to bet that Chads with the most extroverted, low inhib, low neuroticism personality have high cortisol in response to stress

whenever someone starts posting plot graphs and citing stats fom dubious studies, it's almost certainly another account of a resident schizo

I think the ideal situation would be High cortisol in the morning, low cortisol troughout the day and night and high cortisol in responde to stress, the problem would be if your brain identify a lot of situation as a stress situation, like social anxiety or an other fobia.
High cortisol in the morning AND then lowering to the night Is normal. Low cortisol levels in the morning and high in the night Is relates to the depression
