Slightly squinching but I always squinch because of the sun. Neutral head position
 
Nct and narrow ipd and bad eye color

JFL because i'm looking into my camera flash to make the colour of my eyes obvious, which is massively constricting my pupils which will make my iris appear bigger. I've been told before that my eyes are somewhat far apart, as opposed to this guy who visibly appears to have a narrow ipd.

How does pupil dilation affect the iris size and the raw measurement doesn't change because of the illusion making it seem bigger
However could be due to distortion

nvm I'm retarded, you're right about distortion tho probably as this was quite up close, all I know is my ipd is without a doubt larger than this guys.

Iris size doesnt change and how close you are to the camera doesnt matter for this way of measuring iPd.

In which case he might just have a much wider fwhr (mines 1.75/1.8) to make it look smaller proportionally.

No it matters, it affects the measurement pretty heavily in close up photos

I usually get lower results on people when I measure in selfies instead of actual photos

Surely focal length distortion would affect bizygo width and ipd the same way ervid?
