Waist doesn't matter btw. It is actually better to have a wider waist, with even wider shoulders.
People with skinny waists, with slightly above average shoulders or even (for the sake of the argument) wide shoulders, will just have an objectively good V taper and shoulder-to-waist ratio.

But it will look frail when they are put in a relative frame with somebody next to them, who has a wider waist.

A wider waist was a biological evolutionary advantage as you can generate more torque using it, leading to far more power, when kicking/punching/throwing a spear etc.

It is cringe when bodybuilders or people who chase looking "strong"/aesthetic, rather than BEING strong.. say that they for example have a smaller waist/midsection than women.
