if ur smashing get a LIPUS machine or any device that can vibrate your jaw at 50-100 hz it's boosts osteoblast activity through microtransduction. I've never seen anyone post good results smashing gonions though some people even say it's not worth it cuz too much soft tissue between hammer and bone u could bruise your masseters. I have the same issue as you though so lmk if smashing is working for u chewing helped me a lot personally

Nah bro the corner at the bottom of your gonions has no nerves compared to the mandibular arch, it hurts sm there but I got really good results from just smashing the corner of my jaw, does a massage gun work? I did see a study on it done on rats so I started using a massage gun

It's not about nerves it's about the pterigomassteric sling that wraps around your gonions like a sheet held by a flat tendon that has fibres parallel to the direction of the hammer strikes. look up what masseter dehiscence is idk how to spell it, that happening would be the worst case scenario so if ur doing it in that area be gentle. Massage gun at 3000 rpm should be good it's 50hz. Also could u check out my thread and rate the ascension
