I think his result looks good because he was already lean in the face.
Getting a implant with high bodyfat is the reason for ugly results.

This is actually a good result, I don't think he was recessed he was just lacking jaw bone mass

his chin was too vertically long to begin with. reduction genioplasty first, then jaw angle implants. eppley went full retard on ramus length yet again.

Not a very good result. His side profile looks better but his frontal profile doesn’t look much better. In fact, one could argue his frontal profile didn’t improve at all (or that the before frontal was better than the after frontal). Sure his total jaw width is higher now since his gonions flare out more but his gonions simply sit too low now (in other words, his ramus is too tall).
