Something about him comes off as fragile, almost scared. He doesn't seem like he's in charge of his own life, merely an actor manipulated by others and led around by the nose to whatever it is they want him to do. I think he's conventionally 'attractive' but I don't really see the same dark triad traits the rest of you are seeing--if anything, he comes off as a frightened boy to me.
