alr you have basically same hair type as me, i would recommend to just first grow it out enough to where your bangs are almost covering your eyes when laid down and the hair on the sides is mostly covering your ears. Then, when your hair is long enough you can go to a hair salon who knows how to cut long hair or just cut it yourself. Its really not that hard to get a nice hairstyle with long hair just get like a flow hairstyle or maybe a middle part if you can. Me personally since my hair doesnt stay up well i just have a modcut , which is also good
