Yeah, after I kick this drug binge. Last dance with crystal meth. Been shooting that crap for about a month now. Just had to after 8 years. These streets along with Saigon and occasionally Hong Kong used to be my tweaking grounds. Been coming here to party since 2013. I'd usually binge for three to six months before either realizing I was still ahead and going back to a random city in China for another contract or, like the first couple times, completely running out of money and working my way back up at bars, hotels, and not so legal call centers then going back to China.

But aren't the authorities there tough on drug abuse? And how does one get addicted to stuff like meth? I can understand crack, heroin, and especially prescribed opiates, but meth?? Isn't that sinus medication? "Muh, I'm addicted to snot softeners."

Very soon. One more week of partying and two more to recover then I'm getting a teaching job. I'm living in Cambodia now.

Lol no, this is Cambodia. It's nothing like Thailand, Singapore or Indonesia in that regard.

See that closed shop behind the boy. There's a young homeless Australian man that openly sits in front of that shop every evening and openly smokes ice, masturbates, and has kung fu matches with the shadow people. Don't know how long he's been here but everybody's used to him. Nobody bats an eye.

You get busted here and you have two options. A year or two in jail or just shake the cop's hand with a couple hundred dollars. They won't even confiscate your shit. Cops won't even mess with someone who's down that they know won't be able to pay.

It's kind of like the Wild West here. An 8 year old could go to any pharmacy which are on practically every street corner and buy 20 tablets of 80mg Oxycontin right over the counter no questions asked.
