people here see a nasolabial fold in a similing pic and instantly declare recessed maxilla jfl. I'm not saying yours is or isn't, but there's no way of knowing just based on that alone.

Kroes has pretty apparent folds when smiling too, but does that mean her maxilla is recessed? If so, then being "recessed" is no longer relevant for aesthetics. Someone could be 7psl and look ridiculously good and still fall under that category; the term would become psl autism with no real value to beauty or health metrics.

I could understand if you were thoroughly analyzing someone, it would be good to mention for the record that they had very minor maxillary hypoplasia, but on a random rating thread it sounds like speculative cope.
