Option 1 (What if): You go to orthodontist and check if this overbite can be fixed by braces, do not get ripped off and do not get braces just to not get overbite fixed. I have done this mistake, so basically I had slightly uneven teeth and an overbite, so I got braces but the only thing they fixed was straightening the teeth and not fixing the overbite. (At that time I was like a teen, so I did not go to an expert lvl orthodontist to evaluate if this overbite was fixable with braces, because if it is they construct braces way differently than the regular ones) And now I am 23 and everything is fully developed, even if my overbite will be fixable it will not be fully fixed and it will take years having that uncomfortable material on your teeth just to fix it slightly.
Option 2: Jaw surgery, where they will cut your jaw to align it properly. The full refinement can take up to a year, It will take up to 3 month for face to look normal without swelling. You can have numbness feeling up to 6+ month. Remember they put braces after this surgery, so with jaw + so the teeth align with each other. It is far more risky than any other surgeries I have listed, however it indeed has the best results. But good results for the cost of paying a lot of cash and getting quite risky surgery done, and recovery time is up to a year. Risks: "if the surgeon is ass" nerve damage, permanent numbness, messed up jaw alignment, relapse (jaw shifting backwards), permanent jaw joint pain, breathing issues.
Option 3: Sliding genioplasty, this is slightly less risky than Jaw surgery. But this surgery has risk to it as well. They basically cut your chin bone, slide it forward and fix it with titanium screws. Overtime tissue develops over the cut bone and newly formed bone fuses it together. The recovery also takes up to a year. Risks: Again "if the surgeon is ass" nerve damage, permanent numbness, infection, asymmetry, relapse, lip positioning changes.
Option 4: Chin implants. There are two types of chin implants: 1. Polyethylene (medpor) and 2. Silicone. Chin implant surgery is either done with A) Intraoral approach(inside the mouth) or B) Submental approach (outside, under chin). A) Inside the mouth approach - Inside the mouth they cut the part between teeth and lower lip (basically to better visualize this, touch your lower lip and lower it to fully expose lower teeth, you will see a little straight stringy like part connecting the lip area with gum, so they basically make horizontal incision there to put implant inside. B) Outside the mouth approach - they make incision on the lower part of the chin, either vertical or horizontal (surgeons preference). Pros and cons = inside the mouth approach has no visible scar, the scar is only inside and not visible. However it is not that precise. Outside the mouth approach = More precise, surgeon can precisely place the implant where they want it to rest, since from outside the chin is more accessible and the tissue is less thicker than inside. However you will have permanent visible scar under your chin, it will not be noticed by looking directly at your face. Implant types:
1. Polyethylene (medpor) implant - this is a porous material implant basically has little holes/tunnels throughout in simple terms. They put porous in and they fix it with titanium screws. Overtime blood vessels and tissue form throughout and outside, implant fuses with chin bone area and stabilizes very firmly.
2. Silicone implant - basically silicone material. They just make a little pocket so the silicone fits in perfectly. Silicone does not fuse, it is stabilized by that pocket the surgeon made.

Medpor pros fuses very firmly with chin bone, blood vessels and tissues grow into that porous structure I told you about.
Cons far more risky than silicone, as they have to use screws to fix it to the chin bone. If the surgeon is not professional, they can damage the nerve when drilling the chinbone to put screw in and permanently cause numbness on the chin area. It is also slightly more expensive than silicone chin implant and not many surgeons do medpor implants.
Silicone pros not much of risks, only infection risks and asymmetry which is pretty rare if the surgery is done by a professional (basically 1% chance). If in future you do not like the chin implant anymore, the revision surgery is much more easier than if you had medpor implant. Much cheaper and silicone implant is done almost by every plastic surgeon, as it is much more easier to do than medpor.
Option 5:
fat grafting or filler.
Fat grafting - basically taking fat from a body part and injecting into your chin area.
Filler - they either inject hyaluronic acid or calcium hydroxylapatite (longer-lasting)

Cons Not permanent. Filler might shift and make other facial part uneven.
So to conclude:
Top tier result wise are Jaw surgery, sliding genioplasty. However they are much expensive, and much risky.
Mid tier result chin implants. Medpor is the best, but silicone can also do if medpor is not available in your country.
Top to mid to low (What if) braces fixing your overbite, I doubt it will do. Even if they fix your overbite the chin will not somehow protrude forward and align with your lower lip which is the ideal positioning for the chin.
low tier result fat graft or chin fillers.
I would recommend getting chin implants. They have a good results if done by good surgeon and I am sure you can afford it.
