Honestly I live in Cannes, France so my hair looks like this cause I go to the beach and salt water makes it fuller and curlier. So maybe sea salt spray could help, and longer hair is better for that too.

dont exaggerate with sea salt as it dries your scalp over time + the salt flakes may appear to look like dandruff to others.
the true way to get perfect hair is to quit shampoo / soaps and just use hot water to wash it . it worked for me as long as you comb it every once in a while

get a 1.5 liter spray bottle , like the gardening ones ( i think its called vaporizer or sum) mix 1 part of salt and 2/2.5 parts of warm water . if you fear your hair getting stinky add some perfume or rosemary oil (any essential oil will be fine) , Then shake for 2 minutes and you js got yuorself 3 months of salt spray

personally i never had oily hair issues . If i remember right its your scalp getting reused to its natural state so it overreacts (sort of) and pumps up sebum production . maybe stop using sea salt spray if you notice lots of oil and start again when your hair stabilizes and doesnt look oily , HAIR IS GENETIC AND BEHAVES DIFFERENTLY FOR EACH PERSON

There isn’t much u can without surgery. I’ll check better later. Rn i can’t
