I don't think the bone theory makes sense. Plenty of boneless with no facial fat. Plenty of people with good bones and still bloated.

Idk, I've seen many boneless normies having no fat on face at all. They don't look good so you won't find many examples, but they do exist. Someone like Hugh Laurie for example.

Typically no facial fat plus good bones = good looks, even if the person doesn't have much dimorphism and looks very blandly average. Facial leanness is simply the strongest attractiveness factor.
