So what are signs of recession and what parts are the good parts?

anything below 167° is facial recession, as for the projection of the maxilla its genetic. However it can happen that you have a very flat maxilla and a mandible too projected a bit like Gosling, in this kind of case the jaw remains weak even if the forward angle is correct (174° for Gosling but only because his mandible is long ). It's simple, if the cheekbones are high they will make your lower lids tighter, while low cheekbones will make them rounder and droopier. For example you probably have more scleral show in the sides where your cheekbone is a bit lower
