Epiphone Les Paul. I installed custom zebra pickups and my volume knobs I installed push/pull knobs to split the humbucker.

Honestly better than any Gibson Les Paul I played.

Epiphone make fine guitars. Their pickups are usually shite. I changed them and most of the guts of it. I set the action to fit me.

A stock Epiphone might not be that great, but a little work can make it amazing.

Epiphone are good but gibson are on another level. Yeah the wood is the same but muh crafstmanship is way better.

I was disappointed when I held a Gibson LP. It was only things like the finish and frets were filed a little better so it’s more comfortable. But you can do that yourself.
Still a lovely guitar but imo not worth 3x the money of an Epi

I also like to mix rhythm and add some embellishments so I like to wrap my thumb around to play the low tonic with thumb.

That is a little awkward on skinny necks like this. This is my tele with a skinny neck fretting a barre chord and my pinky plays a little extra

With my fat LP it’s more comfortable
