Rate my gym split (be brutally honest aiming for V-taper)

So I recently started going gym and my friend and I made a split and I would just like feedback on how it could be improved in anyway also this is my first thread so hi :)

  • Monday: Rest
  • Tuesday: Chest + Biceps + Side delts
  • Wednesday: Back + Triceps
  • Thursday: Shoulders + Legs
  • Friday: Rest
  • Saturday: Chest + Arms
  • Sunday: Back + Shoulders

If your hitting everything 2x a week and you like it then it’s good enough.

Id personally just run something simpler just to make it easy but decent split

Not easier but I mean easier to track and shit.

Id argue what you do is better since its less likely you’d get bored but I just do upper 3x a week and keep it the same so its easy to follow the routine and track my progress on different movements.

Whats your exercise selection?

For chest I do incline dumbbell chest press, Pec deck and a incline chest press

Biceps: Incline hammer curls, Seated dumbbell curls and then preacher curls

Triceps: Single arm pushdown, Dips and then Overhead with a Ez Bar

Shoulders: Lateral raises on a machine I do 1 arm at a time, Rear delts and then incline shoulder press machine

Back: Lat machine pulldown, T bar row and then pull ups

Legs: honestly I forgot the exercise names but it's just the Big 3
 
I recommend a PPL/UL split
