Most plants clear the air, no i love plants and define myself as a plant enthusiast as well. It's exciting to see what kind of variation the next leaf gives in these ones, being in the plant community is nice as you get to meet other people that love plants, you can sell / trade cuttings of rare plants moneymaxing while enjoying them. So both because I like them, as an investment and gives you access to a community where plant obsessed people like myself care more about plants than going out partying. It's a good addition in every aspect of your life

Do you need any kinds of expensive/special equipment or can you start from scratch with little money or ressources in general?
Highly depends tbh, it's not worth it if you don't like plants anyways tbh. You'll need quite a bit of knowledge and know the trends currently running in the plant community, for example these are some of the trending/grail plants which can be extremely profitable if you manage to get one and resell cutting
