You take testosterone; your body goes - oh I have plenty I don’t need to produce any more. The part of the brain that signals test goes to “sleep”. When you come off cycle with the help of PCT and HCG your brain “wakes up”, hopefully “remembers” how to produce again and once you slowly recover you cycle back on.

So how could we avoid this or optimise our training in the down period?

By doing the opposite - convince your brain you need more test instead of less and force it to make more naturally.

This way you aren’t risking permanent TRT

Enclomephine (12.5mg - 25mg)
This keeps the brain blind to your serum estrogm, forcing a constant higher release of LH and FSH which stimulate testosterone production.

HCG (250iu – 500iu, 2-3x weekly)
HCG keeps the testes physically full and sensitized to the LH signal from the Enclomiphene.

Proviron(25mg - 50mg)
Proviron is technically an oral steroid, but it is unique because it is rarely suppressive at low or moderate doses (25–50). It binds to SHBG with massive affinity freeing your natural testosterone to enter muscle cells. It also adds a distinct hardness and vascularity to the muscles that natural T alone cannot provide.

Boron (10mg daily)
This is a mineral not a drug, but at specific cycle doses it is one of the only natural substances scientifically proven to significantly impact hormones. Within 7 days of 10mg a day dosing, studies show a measurable spike in Free Testosterone. Kinda cope?

YK-11 (5mg – 10mg daily)
YK-11 is a SARM and myostatin inhibitor. It doesn't use the Testosterone pathway; it simply removes the limits/breaks on how much muscle your body allows you to carry. At high doses it can be suppressive. Don’t take if you only want test for facials gains.

HGH(8iu daily)
HGH at higher doses drives lean mass gains, fat loss, and recovery via IGF-1 and protein syntesis.

Tongkat Ali (200–400 mg daily standardized extract)
Tongkat Ali reliably boosts total testosterone (30–40% or more in studies/meta-analyses especially in stressed or hypogonadal men) by lowering cortisol, reducing SHBG, and freeing bound T. It enhances libido, mood, and training recovery with minimal suppression.

L-Carnitine (L-Carnitine L-Tartrate, 1–2 g daily)
L-Carnitine L-Tartrate upregulates androgen receptor density in muscle amplifying anabolic effects of existing testosterone for better recovery and protein synthesis. It doesn’t raise circulating T but enhances utilization downstream.


Also I’m researching into making a diy kisspeptin/GnRH pump from insulin pumps that could easily achieve steroidal effects.
