Done a lot of research on my own face and identified what I think are my main flaws.
- Chin/lower third recession — my #1 issue. My chin projects significantly behind my lips and nose on profile. It's both chin bone recession AND some mandibular recession together — not just the chin tip, my entire lower third reads short and recessed. This creates a convex profile. Highest ROI surgery for me when the time comes — sliding genioplasty over a basic implant for full lower third correction.
- Ramus height — short. Short ramus contributing to compressed lower face height. Jaw angle sits higher than ideal which kills definition. Structural issue, surgical to fix properly.
- Maxillary retrusion — contributing factor. Some midface retrusion pushing everything back, adding to the convex profile. Lips sit behind nose tip because of this. Still mewing but realistically limited at my age.
