Never mind, it's G#1
Yes. Anything below that it sounds strained.

That would be extremely impressive then. Basses generally don’t need to go under E2 because it’s very rare anyone can project anything lower.

Personally I can do a B1 with power on a good day. Anything in the 2nd octave I can do.

Thank you!
What's your vocal range then? Have you tested it out?

Is this good for a 16, almost 17 year old? Also I'm not trying to be a faggot that is intentionally trying hard to make their voice deeper than it actually is  this is me talking casually

I don’t really sing much. But in the classical sense it would be from B1/C2 to maybe A3 reliably(then a gap and could hit a few notes in the 4th octave in chest voice) then falsetto a bit higher. A few years back I found out I could do whistle notes well. Could reach the 7th octave. Not a pleasant tone tho. But I could reach it 😊

You?

How could I test out my vocal range? You reaching the whistle register is pretty impressive

Don’t you have a tuner app for your bass? Any tuner app that shows the frequency can be used

Can’t do it reliably anymore tho. No control

Done it. Highest I can reach is F#5 (falsetto voice)

Any more and I squeak

Well, I was looking and the average male voice range is between 105-110hz, so that's an average range for your voice.

Women prefer voices that are between the 94-101hz range, lower than that is still ideal but not as much.

After 115hz, it can be considered a high pitched voice.

140-180 is an androgynous range, not a male voice, not a female voice.

After 200hz, it is a female voice.

Here, I did some more experiments on my voice. Thoughts?

Try to read a short text, without raising your voice and lowering it, that is your average hz. Although looking at what you have sent I would say it is between 100-105hz.

Could you also do the G#1 or close. It’s pretty crazy if your natural speaking voice is about double the frequency of your lowest note.
