I don’t have that deep of a voice usually, so I’d assume it wise to go for a softer type of voice. Though, I do believe my voice still requires application, as speaking loudly causes my voice to falter or “crack”

I don't have a clue tbh, but I'm sure there's tutorials on YT. I would like to get to know my voice better too. I only sing when I'm high.

Yeah, when I listen to my voice in a recording it sounds rather different from how I perceive it when I speak. I rarely listen to recordings of my voice, and so it makes me self-conscious and sounds odd.
