Could genio help, or would it look uncanny?
I know bimax could help me in thwoey, but I feel like it would be too risky just for aesthetics.

If you are going to hardmax I´d suggest you bimax, lefort 1 is not too risky and it is the only way you could fix your side profile tbh. Genio wont do much for you since your problem is your jaw in general and not your chin only.

He needs genio, not bimax, I'm pretty sure his teeth aren't misalignment and neither are his jaws

Look at his upper lip and gonial angle. His jaw is clearly set back and genio wont solve the problem. His teeth may not be misalign but he clearly lacks projection in his whole lower third. A ccw bimax would ascend him.
