If you have a short slanted ramus you have to be down grown otherwise your face will be fucked up. It certainly isn't a bad thing tho esp in ur case

You'd have more down growth if you have a smaller ramus to accommodate the lower third. Your lowers thirds isnt completely cucked that's why I said your ramus is not a bad thing in ur case
