That's fine for personal preference, but objectively, it doesn't matter as much. Women could look good either way. Men have to have more specific traits in order to look good.
1) Bigger overall dimensions = more potential for recession
2) Men suffer more in the modern world, so they're more likely to pick up bad habits like sucking their thumbs as a kid, smoking (either pot or ciggs) which trigger allergies and mouthbreathing, etc. [more speculative but I believe it]
