Skinny and low body fat %, thick long hair, rock star halo. People used to look better in general. Men had more masculine facial features, better jaws/chins and more angular features.
So many men nowadays look like bloated featureless teenagers with weak recessed lower thirds.

Lower testosterone is the main reason. Also higher body fat %.
Women have higher test nowadays which is why you see so many women with big square jaws nowadays, but it was extremely rare before the 80s-90s.
