I thought they knew each other (I skipped introduction week) since high school but they only met last week. They were bhaimaxxed AF I was really surprised to find out recently they just met. STEM folks are generally nerdy af and non-NT but these guys aren't.

That's because you're rotting. I used to be giga NTmaxxed in high school, but when I became a NEET + lack of sleep, my brain started rotting hard AF. The first two days I didn't socialize with anyone at all, I sat away from everyone and lonermaxxed because I had no interest in socializing. I would stare out the window while they were all socializing with each other. Then guys on here advised me to socialize with them/befriend them. Yesterday while doing homework I realized the guys here are right, because I didn't understand some things and when you socialize you can get them to help you out. So today I socialmaxxed although it took some getting used to and it was a bit awkward at times for me but that's because I've been rotting so hard. That's why you should try to stay social. Don't end up like me.
