Nah, fantastic hair. Why not? Sides don't have to be zero.

Also his barber knows his craft. He leaves him a bit more on the upper side and leaves a bit less on the cheekbones so that he appears more bony and also more angular and not just like a soulless square.

I spent years trying to make a barber understand that tecnique, and the only one that understood it was a kid my age who made very cheap haircuts instead of the so called experts.

Because his hair is thin as hell and got bald spots which he covers by putting it back. (He also got a hair transplant)
