Raw Milk Question

I have 3 farms where i get milk from. 2 sell it raw and 1 sells it pasteurized. The pasteurized tastes very earthy for some reason but the raw milk just tastes a little sweet and creamy but i feel like the raw should have this "raw"/ earthy taste. What could be the reasoning behind that?
