Raw Milk + Raw Colostrum causing massive facial bloating?

I added raw milk (2-3 cups a day) and colostrum on the same day (roughly Nov 3rd) and since have noticed my face has became insanely bloated.

Before this i was drinking 2 cups of pasteurized milk a day, which was organic + grass fed. I didn’t notice any facial bloating of any sorts while drinking it which is strange.

has anyone had a similar experience? As of right now I’m gonna eliminate the colostrum to see if it’s the culprit because I really don’t want to give up raw milk as it taste pretty good and it’s super healthy.. I have also tracked my weight daily and my weight has only went up by one pound this month, my diet has been the same and my carbs/sodium are always constant.

The raw milk and colostrum hasn’t made me sick or anything, the only thing I can be certain of is I’ve been shitting more, otherwise nothing else has changed other than the bloating in the face.

I started a mini cut a few days ago to see if it will help and it’s been 4 days since and my face is still super bloated.. like I can feel the water in my face right now, my cheeks and eyes feel super swollen like I got stung by a bee. I’m gonna go a week without colostrum and see if that does anything and if it doesn’t then I will try eliminating the raw milk..

Literally no reason why raw milk would give you more bloating than pasteurized milk

Honestly I might just be lactose intolerant because before I was only drinking a cup or so a day, now I’ve been doing 2-4 on average. There’s not much information on lactose intolerance causing bloating but some sources said it’s possible. I might just try cutting out milk as a whole to see what happens.

How’d it go? I drink it every day and look lean as ever

I suspected both but I kept drinking the raw milk and cut out the colostrum and the issue remained. After cutting out the raw milk my face debloated like crazy after 24 hours and it was basically fully gone after 2 days.

The bloat was different from something like poor sleep or excess carbs/sodium, it looked like I got stung from a bee and my face was swollen, it looked like my face was gonna blowup or something. My lips, cheeks, zygos, and eyes were swollen. The sensation is also very different from a regular bloat, it’s like fleeting and I can feel the water in my face with a swelling sensation all over my face.

It’s unfortunate I can’t tolerate it because health benefits aside it taste damn good, going back to pasteurized milk taste like water.

I did some research and asked chat gpt and from what I gather it seems I either have a histamine intolerance since raw milk has a shit ton of histamines, or some sort of gut microbiome reaction to the bacteria in raw milk. It’s strange because I don’t have any digestive issues, if anything my stomach is less bloated after raw milk strangely enough.

I think that’s the cause because I also tried fermented raw cultured butter which has a shit ton of histamines and bacteria compared to raw milk and the face bloated became x2 as worse, and that was the confirmation of the issue.
