I thought it was carbs that made me feel cucked (numb, sleepy, brainfog) but turns out it was starch. I realized this from doing a ray peat diet the past week with drinking only real 100% orange juice and milk with sugar during the day when i study, with 2 cups of coffe, pinch of salt, and levothyroxine (its legit OTC in my country JFL) and i feel almost high when i do this diet, like the combo of orange juice-milk-sugar-salt feels like its made for my body, i don't get that sleepy brain fog like i did from eating starches. There are alot of other benefits as well thats too long to list but the only negative so far is my shits are liquid jfll.

Tbh is taking levothyroxine without even knowing how you stand on the TSH range safe? Any Ray Peaters here that could chime in on this?

Sugar isn’t causing me problems, only that it fattens me up if I eat too much

Starches are the real devil as they are derived from unnatural man-cultivated foods (vegetables)

Yes bro, makes perfect sense why, our ancestors would only eat fruits, milk and honey in the lush seasons of spring, summer and early autumn and then be full carnivore during the few months of late autumn, winter and early spring.

Idk why is it so hard for normies to understand this, your own body is exceptionally good at telling you what you are designed to eat. For example potatoes are literally rock hard raw and when artificially boiled they still are tasteless, not sweet or salty. This indicates that your taste buds despise it cause it causes stress to the body needing to break down all of that amylose and amylopectin. Meanwhile fruit is a monosacharide (fructose and glucose) so it literally gets absorbed instantly in your intestines and doesn't digest, while the small amounts of fiber feed bacteria to make byturate which protects the cell walls.

Fruits are meant to be eaten, thats how they spread their seeds, and thats why they are so sweet to us. We have literally evolved with them in symbiosis

Tbh every person knows this instintcly while they are little, just think about how kids hate vegetables like broccoli or brussel sprouts

And they love sweet fruits because they need all that sugar to grow

Its only years of brainwashing that makes adults go against their natural insticts

I tried once this Ray Peat shit and man... Rock hard erection, TONS of energy and BOTB sleep of my life. Much better performance at the gym. I also noticed that I have less anxiety.
I say it once again: BOTB sleep of my life, zero problem with waking up, fully rested at the morning. I've try a lot of shit like: no screen before sleep, meditation etc. but I had hardly improvement. This diet took my sleep quality to another level.
I recommend everyone to try this diet and check if it works for you.

The diet should be like a Bible for people with digestive problems, thyroid or immune-inflammatory problems. Orange juice is full of vitamins and minerals while being very easy to drink (ideal for bulking) and also takes almost no digestion for the reason that the carbs in it are monosacharide, meaning its made from fructose and glucose that AREN'T bined to eachother. This means no enzymes needed to digest it, its quite amazing. Similar thing with milk, if lactose intolerant then lactose free milk (basically normal milk with lactose broken down) should work good as well.

No they have tons of oxygenated PUFA's, no nutrients (majority are destroyed durimg processing) and are also a starch so not an ideal carbs

I can't afford to avoid starch n grains and eat only meat n fruit lol. That's for rich people. But I still follow Ray peat in many other things he recommends

oh I see. So it better to eat potato raw? Or cooked I don’t get it. also how about drinking high alcohol concentration drinks instead of eating food. Will it help lean maxing.

Um he doesn't say to substitute starch with meat, but with simple sugars like fruits, fruit juices, milk and honey. They aren't that much more expensive then starches, but again if your digestion is ideal then starches should be fine anyways

Fruit is expensive as fock in sweden atleast if you buy in the grocery shop. It's only cheap at the arab fruit n vegetable markets outside in some towns

So vegetables are the real problem?

It’s not the worst, the fructose will just go create visceral fat, your waist will of course get a little wider.
For aesthetics it’s sub optimal.
Keto is very hard to maintain as we need carbs, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to eat no carbs whilst getting a full calibre nutritional intake.
Carnivore with zero fruit in winter and some seasonal stuff in summer seems to work best for me.
If I ever get bored of devouring beef heart, quark and 15+ eggs daily whilst staying extremely shredded, I’ll try this.
Seems to have a lot of guys here liking it.

so basically you want high GI rather than low GI? think its good for older ppl but would u recommend low GI for heightmaxxers who want to increase insulin?

Could you pls reply on what you eat in a day or make a thread about

Peat has consistently said complimentary shit about potatoes- just make sure to get the starch out. I peel them, cut them, rinse them once and then boil them in water with baking soda for 5 mins (baking soda draws out the starch). Then I rinse them in cold water 3 more times and then stick them in the air fryer for 20 mins with coconut oil. Mogger food tbh.

Abusing levothyroxine may lead to hyperthyroidism (insomnia, sweating, high estrogen, too low cortisol).
Regarding potatoes - what does Peat say about sweet potatoes (which is technically not nightshades)?

didn't look into it but I assume he isn't a fan of them due to their high beta carotene content, converting beta carotene to vitamin a uses up your b vitamin stores quite alot same reason why he is against cooked carrots

Some form of thyroid supplement is necessary in this day and age. Levothyroxine mono therapy works only on very healthy young males. Triiodothyronine (t3) is needed for the most optimum way of using thyroid

Once you’re glucose adapted you won’t get fat with sugar. Coming from carnivore you’ll definitely put on pounds if u do ray peat

glad ray cuck died; fukin snake oil salesman lmao
RI piss bozo :lul:
