There's a subconscious self belief in terms of fighting success that only gets triggered once I pass a certain threshold of muscle mass
It doesn't matter if I can consciously believe I could beat up 95% of non fighting trained males when at a reasonable level of muscle mass, if that muscle mass is still too light to be absolutely optimal relative to my height and frame, my subconscious doesn't allow me to think I'm the optimal predator.
I went from incline pressing 40kg dumbbells to 44kg DBs and the increase in muscle mass has been notable and I'm just starting to cross over the threshold into optimal levels of muscle mass for my frame and height territory and I can feel my mindset changing.
As an aspie who's incapable of ignoring reality like normies can (antithesis to 5'8 60kg chav with a big mouth acting like he could do anything in a combat situation) you literally need to max out every metric that it's possible to max out just to feel like you've done the bare minimum and can be reasonably content with yourself
