Do you guys know what reaction formation is? In psychology, it's a defense mechanism where you unconsciously replace an unacceptable impulse with an opposite and exaggerated reaction to manage anxiety and maintain your desired self image.
For example, people who are extremely homophobic (like some of the users on this forum) and aggressively vocal about it, even to the point of retaliation, are actually deeply gay and in extreme denial to the point that they have to have a meltdown to hide their true feelings.
Would explain why pretty much all the male model chad pfps are so homophobic and run to the mods for help JFL. They are attracted to male models
