"while prob not being able to find any stylistic devices and interpret shit" are you fucking stupidsure thing, keep saying "oh they give a vocab boost, literary boost, interpretation skills"
while prob not being able to find any stylistic devices and interpret shit
and then what? getting horny cus u found a personicication of some kind?
I apprecheate the high iqYou're against intellectual brain stimuli?
Reading has many benefits
heres just a random article explaining some of the benefits from reading, pretty water but still informative https://www.95percentgroup.com/insi...zuI8nO529bDogu7U9MGoz7ziA-VXTFMZtP67DoSl1_wtl
I wouldnt say that video games and reading fall into the same category, video games more-so fry the brain than help it,
fucks up dopamine receptors and rapes your eyes with flashing lights
Reading porn-like books and 'smut' however i will obviously agree is gay and a waste of time
it also fucks up the brain
i do generally see where youre coming from but reading is mostly good![]()
I apprecheate the high iq
i knoe there are benefits from reading it, i never debated against that. vidoe games have a lot of benefits too and except for the dopamin thing there is no proven harm. but the same with dopamin can be said about fictional books too (obv speaking of less overall dopamin, but books come from a time where they were like videogames).
when videogames and tv and radio werent around fictional books were seen as the "movies" of their time. cus they work the same as them. creating a fictional world beyond ours and stimulating dopamin musch more than everything else in their world. thats how they became so popular.
so if u wanna put it that way a fictional book was for a peasant in medieval times (after the book printing invention by i think gutenberg which made books mainstream) just like tiktoks for us now
"Reading porn-like books and 'smut' however i will obviously agree is gay and a waste of time

holy low iq"while prob not being able to find any stylistic devices and interpret shit" are you fucking stupid
just DNR my fucking message, you learn those skills from READING books, ANY. FUCKING. BOOK. Fiction works especially well with that.
"and then what?" What are you? fucking dumb? I assume so.
I guess keep jerking off and playing video games you loser ass nigga
"low iq" but won't read booksholy low iq
"you learn those skills from READING books"
not at all. the only reason how u can lean abt stylistic devices is by for instance being thatght them by ur teacher. otherwise u wouldnt know that a personification is a personification for instance
""low iq" but won't read books""low iq" but won't read books
get real, it is factually true that all high iq people read more books than others unironically
either way,
intelligence ≠ IQ
but it seems you are sub 80 iq, i will be DNRing you from now on
Reading books is for intellectual people.![]()
""low iq" but won't read books"
ive read enough books to have this opinion. and yes ive read the classics but i dont think same goes for you, otherwise ud get the points im making
"get real, it is factually true that all high iq people read more books than others unironically" i aree but thats not the point im making.
on avg ppl with higher iqs tend to play more chess is the same argument. but my point isnt that, it is that chess is useless
the problem here is that u dont get that. u dont understand the point
"but it seems you are sub 80 iq,"
so it seems to me that ur the low iq one here
