I often find myself reading things too fast (short sentences/statements/questions etc) and interpreting something different than what is written.... ie skipping a few words and piecing together what makes the most sense in my head (doesn't happen consciously, it just happens)
In math tests in school sometimes I'd read the question and do something completely different than what was asked.
