I doubt it. Putin is scared of protests and they will happen for months if that happened, and more than likely will turn violent.

One of the worst presidents that exist today. Driven by anger and vengeance. Everybody used to laugh at him when he was young, now he’s laughing at everybody.

I've been reading Russian news and been speaking to Russians people are starting to get bored with Navalny. Amnesty International have stated they don't care about him too. Russians want stability and democracy but it seems they can't have both. Putin is seem as stabilising and a nationalist. Remember Biden is starting to be hostile towards Russia

What idiot reads the news? They won’t tell you the truth. Ask real Russians what they think about the situation. As a half Russian and someone who lived there I know the reality.

cousins who live in Kaliningrad and Kazan.Life under Putin is horrible. Putin is a brutal dictator who uses fear to stay in power. But I doubt he will ever leave office without dying. Luchashenko is similar to Putin in that regard. There are no term limits for Putin and every election is rigged. Protests will do nothing

Maybe

Do you think Putin sees himself as the successor to Peter the Great and Stalin?
I don’t care what he sees himself as, he’s just taking revenge because no one loved him or took him seriously, maybe there’s a genetic component too. I’ve seen that scenario too many times. It’s just psychopathy.

To defeat an enemy you have to understand them. Putin imo is a nationalist who is holding Russian to ransom. I doubt violent protests will solve anything if anything it will strengthen him

Then explain
Putin’s political opponent calls the people who tried to murder him (pretending like he was their boss) and they confessed to everything. Orders were given by Putin. (Turn on english subs).

Why is he afraid of protests then? Why are there thousands of police officers beating up peaceful citizens for nothing? Because he’s scared and he knows what’s up.

He is scared and he is showing excessive force to scare protestors into silence
You have to contextualise Putin and look at the bigger picture. Putin was created by the failings of Yeltsin in making Russia democratic and his failings in Chechnya

What I know is that protests won’t strengthen Putin, otherwise he would let them protest.

Getting rid of Putin is a good idea but I fear it will make things worse. It will leave a power vacuum and someone even more brutal might take over

No. That’s not true. Worse than Russia only Turkmenistan and North Korea, and the chance of a dictator similar to those countries taking over is zero. Even Putin, he barely stole anything when he first became president. The key is to achieve changing presidents every few years.

Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Eritrea and Somalia are just as bad as Russia.
one could even argue Russia should be disbanded. And turned into smaller states
what does an Avar from Dagestan have in common with a Russian from Moscow or Tuvan from Tuvan? Very little perhaps
