It doesn't make a difference.
But, not all fake leather is same quality there are good and bad fake leathers.
Make sure you don't smell like a chinese factory (voltatile organic compounds aka VOCs) - this can be fixed by airing out the item for a while and using baking soda.

never buy fake leather anything, you can get real leather jackets second hand for really cheap, i dont see why you would buy plastic trash thats gonna start peeling in a year
