i tried tiktok for 2 weeks, its just full of conspiracy theories, they are extremely short, lots of misinformation. And people there are extremely braindead, they think they are geniuses when they see a video of the "SATURN SATAN" theory.

they dont learn, they just scroll past topics without going deeper in them and just brag about knowing surface stuff.

Im not against conspiracy theories, but im against the extreme amounts of misinformation about them and lack of proof they provide on tiktok

man if they removed reels from instagram and shorts from youtube im certain i could go my entire life without scrolling

recently i deleted tiktok, still scroll reels sometimes. not NEARLY as much as before though.

now i listen to full form youtube videos in the background whenever im doing something more tedious, but im trying to reduce that too.

end goal is to reduce "media sensitization" (probably not called that but it sounds accurate) to me watching something and focusing only on it and nothing else.
