Capital gains aswell as passive income source from people paying rent. Landed gentry historically did fuck all work as extracting just the accommodation costs from occupants and value of estates on paper were enough for them to sustain their lifestyles.

Realestate value gets debunked by property taxes,
property taxes are the most efficient tax. It will 100% come..
Think forward, the realestate ship has sailed. theres no room for growth, realestate is literally worthless

the only value is if your country has tax favorable (scam) primary residence laws, like no tax on primary residenceif you live in for 6 yrs. Tax scams like this will be removed soon

My country (NZ) had no capital gains tax. The housing market has stalled here it is basically a whole country with Vancouvers housing market. Also there is something called the bright-line test but it isn't a capital gains tax.

yes bvut that should be heavily priced in. If housing is expensive developers can make safe bets on apartments/condos over 5-15 years. It takes time to shift but it will happen
