The main problem with bimax and trimax (bimax + genio) is that they don’t move your facial bones in ways that look natural and harmonize with the rest of your face. Unless you have a good base for bimax (i.e. nothing is recessed but the jaws). If your nose, infras, or forehead are already recessed pre-bimax, bimax can make these features look even worse.

bimax in their senecio is better than not getting bimax though

yeah, if it's for health issues 100% go for it. bad airways will looksmin you in the long run

daniel roscher and some alfaro cases
Do you know which ones Alfaro

Is there any way to move the nasal base forward via bimax?

a regular lf1 will pull forward the anterior nasal spine and widen the nostrils, ccw will change tip projection too. the nose will seem smaller because it gets squished against the maxilla. projection stays nearly the same. high cut also called modified quadrangular lf1 won't move it either, it will just fill your paranasal area. you will need asian nose projection surgery if your nose ends up flat, and maybe some radix augmentation and tip enhancement. Korea is the best place to get one, since they deal with those cases the most

Did you breathe through your nose growing up?

So if you have a downturned hooked nose from lack of support, horizontally short lips that are downturned in corners, recessed jaws especially nasal base, NOV, and long face.. from orthodontics, premolar extractions, and unideal genes

Then should that person get a normal or high cut CCW Bimax done?
I've heard that with high cut they can't get much rotation done. Also this person has a gummy smile so I don't know if they can impact that area with high cut.

What would you do in this situation?

Also great result

this shows how important it is to force little children to mew, because bimax is simply too imperfect. i think showing little cildren horror stories of collapsed faces from extraction ortho, mouth breathing, and adenoid facies, plus the opposite effect in mewing from twin studies will be a good way to encourage corrective habits. what we could do for mewing could be like what arnold did for gymceling, when we show hernan drago to 5 year olds they'll all want to grow mm faces with mewing. gen aleph already doing it under my guidance.

yeah, high cut can get tricky if you need too much rotation / impaction / bite assymetry correction. it's ok to get paranasal implants after regular lf1 in that case, in asia it's done alongside rhino to get that pulled nose forward effect and looks natural in motion. but obviously if you don't need that much crazy movements then high cut is better. these cases look similar to what you described. they got bimax (called 2 jaw surgery in korea) and some nose projection tricks to make it look natural

What did you mean by this btw?
How would high cut be better if paranasal can achieve natural looks.

Also I've heard from some people that paranasal was unideal because when they laugh or smile then it would be stiff, also they'd feel it there.
What do you think?

osteotomies always mog implants imo. it looks weird when the paranasal area juts forward and the lf1 area is left behind and still is recessed. I want to see them in motion to know what it looks like, that korean guy was the only result I found in motion. I wouldn't mind feeling it, but yes it can look weird if it messes with smile lines

Ah so you say it's if it's done alone?
So with a LF1, paranasal implants would be equal to high cut?

Also what are your thoughts on lyphollized cartilage grafts to the paranasal area for projection?

I feel that area (nasal base) + smooth undereye area, are most important for appeal

yes, if it's done alone and you aren't asian. It could work stand alone if you somehow have the same asian failo, that is, bimax recession with protruding mouth, sunken nose and chin hidden behind monke lips. I don't know much about if implants or grafts are better for paranasal, I have to look into that. 100% agree it's most important youthful indicator. you look like melting pudgy granny if you severely lack those areas, even more so if your face isn't sharp. also fucks up smile and cheeks get pulled in weird way.

That is what these surgeons want you to think. Why else would they make the before picture so unflattering and only apply make up in the after picture. Cosmetic surgery is a buisness as much as an art.
