Why do drug dealers always have "friends" or "contacts"; far more than average usually?

If you stopped having to go to work, or school or etc. your "friends" are often gone too.

Anything else is contingency. All "friendships" are obligations & liabilities overall.

not really true. This really only applies to people who describe their โacquaintancesโ as โfriends,โ when in reality they just talk to them for a certain event or reason and donโt really have a meaningful bond.
