really bad skin pigmentation

yo guys i need help with my rly bad skin pigmentation i am levantine arab from jordan specifically and my mom is like more white and my dad is like brown ig or lighter but anyway this isnt my photo but it looks like this but im not that dark.

i am almost 16 and ive never thought about it too much i always thought of it like a tan but i realized its more severe and I'm tryna get my original skin tone back. lmk if you have the same issue or you have treated it.

Had this same problem and I just started putting sunscreen on my arms and it eventually faded down quite a bit

I had a spf 100+++ from when I went on vacation but any body sunscreen would work
