religion is the epitome of if it sounds too good to be true, it's probably not. are you saying i can go through life raping kids and murdering people as long as i believe in my heart of hearts that jesus, muhammad whatever is the real son/messenger of god then all is forgiven and i get to live in a celestial disneyland for eternity?
i think the idea of eternal life is just a frightening as the idea of eternal oblivion, so the main draw of religion doesn't have much appeal to me in the first place
also, religion just pales in comparison to other more plausible explanations for reality, even if they are incomplete. religoncels will cope with muh creation myth is just a metaphor. even then i think there's since been a lot better theories and philosophies than what some 80 iq sand niggers came up with thousands of years ago
