Reason why most people are religious

Not including everyone but the majority. Most people are only religious / claim a religion because there afraid what’s gonna happen once’s we die, for example Christianty or Islam I believe most people wouldn’t follow there beliefs if we knew what would happen in the after life. As well as most people just being born into there religion at such a young age you of course wouldn’t question or define your family’s teachings since that’s the norm
