You know you're getting old when wake this early in thr morning and get hyped over a roll of cloth.

Just got my hands on some navy 100% wool fabirc that I had ordered from Italy. I've got navy suits already but never had one in a lightweight summer suiting fabric. I know it looks different color in second picture but that is due to lighting irl it is like a dark navy color

20250809 145311
20250809 145422
20250809 143546

All my current suits are proper English suits. Strong padded shoulders, heavy British mill fabrics, full canvas, a structured chest. They look sharp, but in summer you'll get roasted in them. Like this

1000221754

Italian tailoring is different. "Soft” unpadded or slightly padded shoulders, lighter canvassing, high armholes, and airy cloth. It's built for hot Mediterranean weather. Gandy always wears Italian suits

This fabric has a smooth deep navy color and is very light weight . Perfect for summer. A suit normally 3 weeks to get stitched but Italian suits like this not as much. I've got an guidp in mind who specializes in Neapolitan cuts who can stitch this for me. I also have my shoes coming from Italy

Gonna get this stitched into a suit and walk into SFO and fly back home like a boss

Cashmere can get that expensive like that luxurious shiny suits you see celebrities wear at the oscars. What I bought was workhorse fabric.which is durable and good for regular wear.

Nice. Mirin fashion sense. I still have one of the suits you made a thread about saved but havent bought it or anything because i have no where to wear it but I really liked it, maybe in the future when I need one

I thought chin wings had a bad reputation and became kind of obsolete. Wouldnt you have better results with bsso and genio?

Pagnoni told me I basically needed more jaw width and outward flaring gonions. He was like your bite is fine and you have a decent chin so there's no need for a genioplasty or BSSO. He told me I was good candidate for Jaw Implants but I told him I'd prefer bone surgeries and he told me Chin wing is an option. I've read somewhere that a BSSO can be used to widen the Jaw but surgeons dont prefer doing it because it is overkill.

Interesting. I was considering getting one as well some time ago but I have a malocclusion so I probably need to focus on that. Aesthetically the biggest issue is the chin, then less important jaw height and gonials (these last two im not sure how bad they are, in the mirror they don't look bad, only in selfies I look like i have no jaw). And I'm not sure if I need bimax or just bsso besides genioplasty. Thats the problem I face with surgery. By the time I will be able to consult a surgeon I will probably already have saved a bit of money as well, but I wont know if I have enough for whatever procedures I actually need untilt the time to get them comes. Until then I can only try to guess and prepar for the worst.

Also, on the subject of surgery. Is there anything you can get done to the eyes to get a specific eyeshape, but nothing like chantoplasty that would probably have uncanny results? I want undereye fat graft and lower eyelid retraction repair but Im afraid it wont be enough and dont know of any procuderes that can have specific eyeshape results.

Imo its best to just get a consult and then decide on what to go. I've been reading into a lot of on this topic recently. Leaving extreme procedures like lefort, limb lengthening that do require a lot of expertise.

Most of the common aesthetic surgeries like rhinoplasty, buccal fat removal etc can be performed by your average biology grad after 5-6 lectures on the topic, a weeks worth of research and 1-2 hands on sessions in the operation theater under a qualified surgeon's supervision. They are really not that complicated. It doesnt matter where you go. Even some retarded favela doctor can do them

What you pay for is basically the surgeons experience, his aesthetic eye and good medical treatment during and after the surgery. Many surgeons in U S especially are massively overcharging their customers. I personally dont plan to get any surgeries in thr US. Its best to go to places like Italy, Turkey, Germany etc

Iirc full orbital rim Implants like this. Can achieve that but they are very expensive and only a few surgeons in the world like Dr Eppley can do it.

Yes, I do plan to go to either one of these countries but because of some personal issues, I havent been able to get a consult with a good doctor yet. I’m hoping to do that in about 1.5 years and if I’m lucky and only have to do something minor get the surgeries in about two years.

If thats not the case, and I need something like a trimax I want to have it done within the next five years at most so I don’t let my youth slip away.

Until I can get a consult, I can only hope I don't need anything extreme and that something straight forward like genioplasty is enough for me so I can have it done quickly and easily and finally look decent.

Interesting. If I get this, I wouldn’t need undereye fat graft anymore, so it could be worth it since I’d save that cost and fix my tear thorughs + my weak infraorbital rim too. It might be a bit too extreme though. I also need to check the price since I’ve seen even just infraorbital rim implants can go for around $10k, but it seem promising. Thanks for sharing.
