Results​

On average, reducing the depth of penetration led to a statistically significant 18% reduction of overall sexual pleasure with an average 15% reduction in length of the penis. The longer the erect penis, the less likely the rings were to have an impact on sexual pleasure. There was a range of individual responses, however, with a minority of women reporting that reducing the depth of penetration was more pleasurable on some occasions.

Both length and girth are important for different aspects. Length is necessary for sufficient strokes and deeper vaginal orgasms and girth is necessary for applying pressure along her walls. Comparing them is pointless.

Some of the participants were not very sexually experienced too, which means that they were less likely to have had as many opportunities to reject a man based on his penis size.

Another limitation is sexual inexperience among some participants. Fifteen women in our sample indicated that they had never experienced sexual intercourse. This inexperience could underlie some of the size preferences observed.
