I’m hoping but so far it’s looking grim here. Crispr is legit the cure for cancer but our government seems all to eager to make it illegal or highly restricted. Much like stem cell testing. A lot of money in treating illnesses. A lot less in actually curing them....

Yes plentiful, the dark side is. I don't see a way around it as such.. Are you a full-time Biologist yourself? I always daydream about if i was a scientists and was allowed to research great things for humanity, but alas, that it not how it works, is it

Currently in school pursuing degree and then on to med school but I have already conducted research with crispr and using it to edit out bacterial antibiotic resistance. Allowing for the antibiotics to actually fight the infection. Unfortunately the bacteria was able to regain its genetic resistance somehow. But we reduced the population greatly.

No problem, as i get into my oldcel years, the least i can do is give back and encourage the youth to not take shit from crotchety professors and actually push through and be the change they know they can be.
It can sound very hallmark over text, but i really do believe this kind of thing
In 10 years or so i hope to work with students helping them navigate the grant structure for new discoveries and stuff, so the red tape doesn't crush them too bad, we'll see, just an idea

agepill is indeed the most brutal of pills. I have 18-20yo's already tell me I am 'too old' for them (I am 24yo). I don't take them seriously yet and still hit on them, but man... its so brutal.
