recessed maxilla fix

Pretty positive I have a recessed maxilla, im 16 and ive been going to the dentist a shit ton to correct cavities and soon getting braces + palate expander, would the palate expander help advance it? I feel like it might but not a whole lot, and ive been looking at tiktok and people say to thumbpull but im not sure if thats just a troll or for real haha.

No don’t get a palette expander it will recess your maxilla more and it hurts a fuck ton don’t do it

I think the braces might counteract it though since their pulling my teeth forward but I'm not sure

and even when he would get a MARPE instead of a RPE
